A new site that turned a stalled website into a lead engine
A small law firm with a dated, slow website that Google had quietly buried. We rebuilt the site on Next.js, migrated every page without losing a single ranking, and rewrote their practice pages around how clients actually search.

The situation
The firm’s old site was built in 2016 on a page builder: 4.2-second load times, no mobile design to speak of, and practice-area pages written like legislation. Rankings had slid year over year as faster competitors launched. The managing partner’s brief was blunt: “Our site looks like our competitor’s little brother and Google knows it.”
The outcome
Six months after launch, organic consultations had more than doubled and the firm held the #1 position for its highest-value local search. The firm’s intake coordinator reported a noticeable shift in call quality: prospects arrive having already read the practice pages.
“The old site was a brochure. This one is a rainmaker. I stopped apologizing for our website in meetings — that alone was worth it.”

What we did
- 01
Rebuilt the site on Next.js with a performance budget of one second on 4G — landed at 0.8s.
- 02
Mapped and redirected all 87 legacy URLs; not one ranking was lost in the migration, and several improved within weeks from speed alone.
- 03
Rewrote the five practice pages around real client searches and questions, with attorney bios given the depth and schema Google’s systems reward.
- 04
Added LocalBusiness and Attorney structured data, FAQ content answering intake questions, and call tracking to prove which pages produced consultations.
