About
A small studio that does the work itself.
Next Business Ideas started in 2019 with a simple observation: the businesses being best served by the internet were the ones nobody was marketing to properly.
Plumbers competing against lead-gen middlemen. Law firms with websites slower than their fax machine. E-commerce brands with genuinely great products buried on page four behind worse products with better SEO. Good businesses, losing to better marketers — or worse, to marketers who talked a big game and shipped nothing.
So we built the studio we kept wishing existed for our own friends’ businesses. Small enough that the founders touch every account. Senior enough that nobody learns on your budget. Narrow enough — SEO and web development, nothing else — that we’re actually excellent at the two things we sell.
Nine years in, the model hasn’t changed. We take on fewer clients than we could, we publish our prices, we write down what we do, and we let the results renew the contracts. It turns out that when you do the work and tell the truth about it, you don’t need a 12-month lock-in.

How we operate
Four principles, printed where clients can check us against them.
01
Show your work
Every change we make is logged, timestamped, and explained. If we can’t defend a line item, it doesn’t go on the invoice.
02
Senior people or no people
The person on your sales call is the person doing the work. We don’t bait-and-switch you into a junior account manager after the contract signs.
03
Plain English
Canonical tags and crawl budgets are our job to understand and your job to never decode. We explain what matters and why, in sentences with verbs.
04
Own the outcome
When a tactic stops working, we say so and change course — at our cost, not with a change order. Our job is your result, not our process.
Who you work with
The people on the call are the people on the work.

We’re a deliberately small team — developers, an SEO strategist, and a writer, all senior, all in-house. No offshore subcontractors, no white-label vendor behind the curtain, no account manager translating between you and the people actually doing the work.
That cap on headcount is a cap on clients. We take on a handful of new engagements each quarter — it’s why the site shows a booking window instead of a live-chat widget.
Want the names and faces? Ask on the first call. We publish clients carefully and team sparingly — but we’re happy to introduce ourselves like normal people.
